What is MathsZone?

MathsZone is an exciting new online learning service developed by Nord Anglia eLearning and the UK's largest Awarding Body, Edexcel. Designed to improve student engagement with Maths, this online service offers you resources, learning communities and support from human eMentors.

• eMentors

  A team of eMentors is on hand from 8am to 8pm weekdays to give you information, advice and support to help you with your Maths studies.

• Content

  You can access a bank of online, interactive, learning materials, to help you with your studies/teaching. These resources are available anytime and support the Edexcel GCSE Maths syllabus.

• Communities

  You can share and discuss ideas and experiences with students and teachers from all over the country in a number of online maths communities. The eMentors are also on hand in these communities to give help and advice and join in the discussions.

• Challenges

  You can test out your knowledge and practice your exam technique by taking part in the eMentors' regular maths challenges.

Who is it for?

MathsZone is designed for GCSE students, teachers and schools. There are two ways of subscribing to the service:

• As an individual
• As a school

Individual subscription

Individuals can purchase 6 or 12 months subscription to MathsZone via the Edexcel shop for just £30 for 6 months or £50 for a full year.

School subscription

Schools can purchase an annual subscription for just £1,500 per year, which gives access to MathsZone to all of their Year 10 and 11 students and their teaching staff. To find out more, request a free month's trial* or join the service call 0800 3890783.
